We are looking for a dynamic self starter to launch various new overseas mortgage services. Experience in overseas mortgages is a must. Suitable for a candidate with ambition for an alternative career that allows expansion into new markets. Foreign languages would be a great advantage.

This is a very varied and dynamic position that will involve a lot of project management, initiative and confidence.

Reporting directly to the Overseas Mortgage Manager, and ultimately the Chief Executive.

Detailed Job Specification

• Creating and launching new overseas mortgage services to the English speaking market.
• The overseas sectors to be targeted include: US, Switzerland, Italy, Cyprus and Eastern Europe.
• Solely responsible for providing mortgage services in the listed countries with supervision from the Overseas Mortgage Manager.
• Liaising with the UK finance division for clients who need to re-mortgage their UK properties in order to raise deposits for foreign property purchases.
• In charge of the databases and systems of your business area.
• Managing marketing, web marketing, PR and advertising initiatives for your business area.

Suited only to a candidate that can demonstrate previous related experience (references will be requested) in at least two (ideally three) of the above listed countries.
Consistent, successful experience in sourcing and delivering mortgage services for property purchasers in the listed countries is a must.
A good grasp of the foreign language used in the listed countries will be a huge benefit.
The role will require an autonomous, hardworking, creative individual who can be left to their own devices, and relied upon to launch a very important service.
Professional telephone manner, excellent communication skills and customer care go without saying.
Confident, articulate, motivated.
Good project management skills.
Fluent, impeccable English is required.

Must be resident in the local area or able to relocate quickly.
